About the Author:

Caldric Blackwell realized he loved reading when he read about a bunch of people (with single-syllable names) and their pets (also with single-syllable names) in kindergarten. Exposure to a host of great authors during his college years inspired him to begin writing. He currently resides in central California, where he writes, gardens, and plays a variety of string instruments.

Description from Goodreads:

Six-year-old Byron Woodward is a werewolf who can’t howl. Determined not to embarrass himself after being chosen to lead a full-moon ceremony, he embarks on a mission to learn how to howl. He learns a lot about howling during his journey, but more importantly, he learns a valuable lesson about believing in himself.

Review:

Tymbrel's Review: I loved it, my favorite part was when he finally howled, and how he realized his fear of being made fun of stopped him from howling. I like the lesson he learned about not letting worry of what people might think hold you back. I hope you write more books like this.

Mom's Review: This was a darling book, with cute pictures and a really good message.
